The 6 slats in the foreground, which are part of the building's facade, are the basis of our site-specific work at modus.konzept in Potsdam. This work, which is a clear combination of sculpture and digital media, is not only a direct response to global developments, but also to the specific discussion of the role of art and its cultural significance. An investigation in the context of the reciprocal qualities of environments and their characteristics that in turn relate to sculpture have been explored here. Each space has different dimensions and characteristics that are determined and created by the individual. It is possible to develop a kind of modular sculpture that merges and changes with the space in ever new ways. Each form that is added is also a new possibility, a process, it in turn fits into the space differently than the previous one and at the same time also changes the feeling of the space.

Die 6 Lamellen im Vordergrund, die zur Fassade des Gebäudes gehören, sind die Grundlage unserer ortsspezifischen Arbeit bei modus.konzept in Potsdam. Diese Arbeit, die eine klare Verbindung von Skulptur und digitalen Medien darstellt, ist nicht nur eine direkte Antwort auf die globalen Entwicklungen, sondern auch auf die spezifische Diskussion der Rolle der Kunst und ihrer kulturellen Bedeutung. Eine Untersuchung im Zusammenhang der gegenseitigen Qualitäten von Umgebungen und deren Eigenschaften, die wiederum Bezug nehmen auf die Skulptur, wurden hier ergründet. Jeder Raum hat unterschiedliche Dimensionen und Merkmale, die der Mensch selbst bestimmt und erschafft. Es ist möglich eine Art modularer Skulptur zu entwickeln, die sich in immer neuen Möglichkeiten mit dem Raum zusammenfügt und verändert. Jede Form die man ergänzt, ist auch eine neue Möglichkeit, ein Prozess, sie fügt sich wiederum anders in den Raum ein, als die vorherige und verändert gleichzeitig auch das Raumgefühl.
